About Us: EPC is a world-class manufacturer of plastic products seeking a skilled Project Engineer / Project Manager to oversee the technical and engineering aspects of projects from conception to completion. This role focuses on maximizing project efficiency, ensuring quality, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Position Overview: The Project Engineer / Project Manager will lead new programs, coordinate resources, manage timelines, and collaborate with customers, manufacturing, and internal teams to ensure all project goals are achieved
Key Responsiblities:
• Serve as the primary interface with customers as the project manager for new programs.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained to guarantee continuous customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures to oversee engineering and technical operations across the department and facility.
• Perform product cost estimating and feasibility analysis for product design and tooling manufacturing.
• Assign, coordinate, and review the progress of the department to ensure projects are meeting company and customer standards.
• Track tool progress at tool shops to ensure timely completion.
• Report weekly to plant management on the status of all new programs.
• Lead the internal Product Development Team (PDT) for new programs and attend PDT customer meetings.
• Document all project activities and maintain comprehensive program files.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams on repair and modification of existing tools and fixtures.
• Other duties assigned by the Plant Manager
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management.
• Minimum of four years of experience planning and executing projects in the manufacturing or engineering field.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as Catia and SolidWorks.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple disciplines and senior staff.
• Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.

Set up and operate injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials. Responsible to maintain injection processes to meet standard cycle times and quality requirements. Ability to properly handle material, molded product and related inventory control. Must have experience and knowledge of proper operation of manufacturing and material handling equipment.

Education and/or Experience
• 2 Years’ Experience in Injection Mold Technical Role.
• Grade 12 or Equivalent.
• May be required to operate a forklift on occasion; must successfully pass both written and practical aspects of forklift exam when applicable.
• Will be required to operate overhead head crane; must successfully pass both written and practical aspects of the crane training program.

• Must observe and practice all safety regulations This includes the wearing and proper usage of the necessary personal protective equipment required for any task.
Language Skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• May have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications through rigorous analysis, inspection, and process validation.
Key Responsiblities:
• Prepare and submit complete PPAP documentation.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive timely corrective actions.
• Conduct final product inspections and maintain calibration records.
• Maintain and track gage control systems and MTE (Measuring & Test Equipment).
• Interface with customer engineering for critical characteristic definitions.
Requirements:
• Degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3-5 years of quality or manufacturing experience, ideally in automotive injection molding.
• Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Gage R&R, LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO/TS standards.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.
